Nurse on duty

I had no intention of taking a little blogging hiatus, but sometimes life just gets in the way. As some of you may remember, hubby is a pro cyclist, and pro cyclists like to ride really, really fast. And when they wreck, it never tends to be pretty. Hubby was involved in a crash last weekend, which left me frantically rushing to the ER and on nurse duty this week. He sustained several injuries but should be just fine in 4 to 8 weeks. Heaven has been helping me out with the nursing duties while I'm at school and work. She likes to crawl up into his sling and nap. I'm sure it's just so that she can be ready in case he needs help.

Hope you are all having a wonderful weekend!!

I completely understand life happening and needing breaks. I hope your hubby gets better soon. Oh and I'm back blogging, but at a new address www.lifeisthemessyparts-jennifer.blogspot.com. Hope to see you there! :)

I hope that your hubby gets better soon. That is horrible that he had a cycling accident. I'm sure you've been a very good nurse wit Heaven as your little helper :)

I'm so sorry to hear he was in an accident. How scary! Thank goodness he's ok and I will keep him in my prayers for a speedy recovery.

Oh no! I am obviously just catching up on your blog and am SO sorry to read this - I'm glad he is doing better and that you are there to nurse him back to health! Send him my best wishes - take care, both of you!
